These simulated experiments use routines originally developed for the Michigan Experimental Simulation System (MESS) by Bob Stout, D. W. Rajecki, Rich Halstead-Nussloch, Dana Main and others in the Department of Psychology at The University of Michigan.

This web interface to the simulations was implemented in the Computer Laboratory for Instruction in Psychological Research (CLIPR), Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado. Abby McClelland designed and implemented this web interface, which uses forms for selecting parameter values. Jon Roberts wrote the cgi programs for responding to the forms. These cgi programs submit input to and retrieve output from the original MESS programs.

These materials are used in sections of Psychology 3101, Introduction to Statistics in Psychological Research taught by Profs. Gary McClelland and Peter Polson at the University of Colorado.
